So one of the questions I get asked most on my social media is what is my lip routine? I wish I could say I was more daring & had a wide variety of routines to show you, but the truth is I have the same lip routine every time I do my make up (which these days is about once a week, ha!) I have a million lip products & found this combo to be the best.
Let’s keep it short & sweet & to the point, babes!
- I do my face make up first, I like to outline my lips with concealer & foundation brush. This gives my lips a blank slate if you will.
- To begin, I use Whirl lip liner from MAC. I outline my entire lip & will sometimes draw just outside my lip line to create a fuller effect. I also fill in the creases of my smile.
- I then apply MAC’s Viva Glam II lipstick. THIS IS THE BEST LIPSTICK EVER, LADIES!!! It’s the perfect, sexy neutral but also has that violet tint (90’s baby over here).
- I used to apply lip gloss but found the glosses from MAC are just too thick & my hair would get stuck blowing in the wind, whoopsie. I now use the Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Make Me Proud from surprise, surprise, MAC. It goes on soft & smooth & is super light.
